Key Responsibilities:
– Customer Service: Greet customers, provide assistance, and answer questions about products, prices, and promotions.
– Sales: Promote and upsell products to meet sales targets and increase store revenue.
– Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough knowledge of the store’s products and services to effectively assist customers.
– Stock Management: Ensure shelves are fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing. Replenish inventory as needed.
– Merchandising: Set up and maintain product displays, ensuring they are attractive and aligned with store standards.
– Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts. Report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
– Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and tidy sales area, including sweeping, dusting, and organizing products.
– Cash Handling: Operate cash registers, handle transactions accurately, and provide correct change.
– Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and staff.
– Team Collaboration: Work closely with other store employees to ensure smooth operations and provide support as needed.
Qualifications:
– Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
– Experience: Previous experience in retail or grocery sales is preferred but not required.
– Skills:

– Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move products (up to 50 pounds).
