Key Responsibilities:
– Machine Setup: Set up machines according to production requirements, including adjusting settings and controls.
– Operation: Operate machines to produce parts or products, ensuring efficient and smooth operation.
– Quality Control: Monitor machine operations to detect defects or malfunctions. Conduct quality checks and inspections.
– Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning machines and lubricating parts, to ensure they operate effectively.
– Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with machinery, such as mechanical problems or programming errors.
– Production Records: Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality control data.
– Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
– Team Collaboration: Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate production schedules and resolve issues.
– Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements and participate in initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
– Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.
– Experience: Previous experience as a machine operator or in a related role is preferred.
– Skills:
– Familiarity with machine operation and control systems.
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
– Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
– Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
– Good communication and teamwork skills.
– Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
– Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
Physical Requirements:
– Ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
