Key Responsibilities:
– Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors, carpets, and other surfaces regularly.
– Trash Removal: Empty and clean waste bins and dispose of trash in designated areas.
– Restroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and fixtures.
– Surface Cleaning: Wipe down and sanitize surfaces such as desks, tables, chairs, and countertops.
– Window and Mirror Cleaning: Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to ensure they are free of smudges and marks.
– Supply Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
– Minor Maintenance: Perform minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs, fixing door hinges, and unclogging drains.
– Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
– Reporting: Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the facilities manager or supervisor.
– Emergency Response: Assist with emergency cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
– Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
– Experience: Previous experience as a janitor or in a related role is preferred but not required.
– Skills:
– Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
– Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery, such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
– Attention to detail and thoroughness in work.
– Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
– Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
– Dependability and reliability.
– Effective communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
– Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
– Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to cleaning chemicals.
– Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).

– Indoor and outdoor work environments, depending on the facilities being serviced.
