Key Responsibilities:
– Assemble electronic components: Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, and schematics to assemble electronic parts, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
– Soldering: Perform precise soldering of electronic components to printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other assemblies.
– Inspection and Testing: Conduct quality checks and testing of assembled products to ensure they meet specifications and function correctly.
– Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve assembly issues, including defects or malfunctions, through effective problem-solving techniques.
– Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly work, including completed tasks, materials used, and any issues encountered.
– Maintain Equipment: Ensure assembly tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
– Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
– Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Qualifications:
– Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics assembly preferred.
– Experience: Previous experience in electronic assembly or a related field is an advantage.
– Skills:
– Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
– Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
– Basic understanding of electronic components and circuitry.
– Ability to use hand tools, soldering equipment, and testing instruments.
– Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
– Good communication and teamwork skills.
– Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.
Physical Requirements:
– Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
– Dexterity to handle small electronic components.
– Ability to lift up to 5 – 6 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment:
– Cleanroom or controlled environment with specific protocols to maintain product integrity.
– Exposure to soldering fumes, chemicals, and small tools.
